I admit it: I listen to Cher. And have a fringe.

Thought it was about time I did not have such a controversial lead title on my blog. Though by admitting this as a reason for writing I have now caused you to look at that unmentionable title and thereby defeated my purpose. well damn. i am always goin' and ruinin' my plans.

Exciting news-- I have a job interview. I was up to half three last night writing the application essay for the position so am pleased I get to have an interview. Hopefully I will have slept more by the time the interview rolls around. I tend to get rather too passionate when I live on less than six hours of sleep a night.

I swear though, I think I am doomed for life to procrastinate until I end up listening to Cher in the wee hours. Why Cher you ask? I ask myself the same everyday. I do have a secret love for her last cd. There is something about 'Runaway' and 'Love is the Groove' that inspires my most complex theses and ingenious analyses. The only problem is that my computer automatically starts playing Clannad straight after it finishes with the Cher songs which totally ruins the mood. It gets me all misty-eyed-I-am-in-an-Irish-bog-with-a-rough-Celtic-warrior which just does not make for sharp logic and inspired syntax.

Speaking of inspired, I also got a haircut today. This may sound too boring to report on a blog but I cut off half my hair. I now have a fringe, something I have not had since the age of 11. The only problem is that it falls over my right eye. So I may end up sacrificing my peripheral vision on that side for some mistaken conception of beauty. Still, it makes me feel like Audrey Hepburn which is always a good thing for a young lady. Or any lady really. I may never have to look in a mirror again, content with my impression of my appearance.

Beautiful.
