Hi! just wanted to say a quick hello from kenya! Bit funny to convert this blog right back to a kenya blog...old times!
actually yesterday i returned to visit kenwa (kenyan network of women with aids) and had a mini reunion with some old friends. stayed the night with a good friend who works there--dorcas-- her family were so welcoming. even now her brother has been showing me around town all day! i even met his manager at the bank!
should run now as he is waiting, having finished his e-mailing. i am off to meet some students from the university of nairobi about our upcoming seminar at the world social forum. then also meeting someone from GTZ, the German USAID/DFID. quite a busy afternoon after a morning wandering around the city and tasting athela-- beef that has been roasted then boiled-- very good and tender, usually for here I have found-- as far as my taste for meat goes!
yes, so having a good time, excited about the tjn forum tomorrow and the world social forum from saturday night.
